office project before and after!

I just had the Madison Avenue dental office I designed last summer photographed and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!  The office now has a great flow to it and the space feels open, clean and fresh!

Click on the read more link below to see additional photos, along with the before pictures after the jump!

. . . . . . . . . .

Before:

The office was outdated.  Minor updates were done one at time, which resulted in the office feeling mismatched and cluttered.

Goodbye acoustical tile ceiling, old carpet, rubber baseboard and tiny patient greeting window.

After:

Updated and fresh!  It was important that the office feel non-clinical and welcoming to patients.

The inspiration for the office design came from the Aspen tree painting over the settee which was already in the reception area.  I designed the chairs and settee and had them made by my wonderful upholsterer, the nickel etageres are from Vaughan and the white glass lamps came from Jayson Home in Chicago.

The new consultation room (with mini fridge, dishwasher drawer and microwave all hidden behind
the custom cabinetry!) is the perfect getaway for private doctor / patient conversations (or lunch!).

The main operatory.

And the private office.

It was such a great project to work on!

  1. do you have any more photos of this office? I am re-designing my dental office right now, I like the looks of this one. Do you know what material was used for the flooring?
